Case management is offered to support county residents seeking services for mental health and substance abuse. This includes assistance with coordinating outpatient, inpatient, detox, and residential treatment services. The county has limited resources to fund these services. State and federal funding requires us to prioritize pregnant women and the intravenous substance using populations. However, we will work to support and coordinate for all residents seeking services and provide funding as funds are available. Please contact our Behavioral Health Coordinators at 715-373-6144.
Persons believed to be a danger to self or others are taken to a mental health unit by law enforcement. Any resultant court-ordered services are monitored by the Department of Human Services staff.
