Grants of up to $10,000 are available to small business owners (Microenterprise) and homeowners/renters. Must meet qualifications including low-to-moderate income criteria.
Microenterprise Grant Information:
Businesses with five or fewer employees and who meet the income qualifications can apply June 1 - December 31, 2022.

Rental/Mortgage and Utility Assistance
The Rental/Mortgage and Utility Assistance program starts the second week of June and will accept requests for up to $10,000 covering up to six months of payments. Applicants must be low to moderate income.

In 2022, Bayfield County contracted with a grant consultant to assist with seeking out grant funding resources. This service was opened up to municipalities and other organizations within Bayfield County to assist with grant opportunities for them as well.
