Northwoods Geology WALKS

Geology is the foundation of fun in the Northwoods! Join the Cable Natural History Museum’s Naturalist/Geology Intern to visit and learn about the volcanic history of Juniper Rock. Meet at the Swedish Settlement Trailhead of the North Country Trail at 10 a.m. Return by noon. Be prepared for a 1.4-mile hike with narrow rocky trails, hills, mosquitoes, and a stunning overlook. To receive directions, RSVP by June 23. Donations welcome.
