The annual Medicare enrollment period is October 15 – December 7, 2015.
Medicare Part D and Medicare Advantage Plans can, and almost always do, change their plans every year!
They can change their premiums, deductibles, co-pays, providers, and their drug formularies. Also, the plans can choose to terminate coverage altogether!
The Annual Enrollment Period is a great time to evaluate your health and prescription coverage for 2016, to ensure that you will have the best health and prescription drug plan for you in 2016. You can also enroll into a health and prescription drug plan for the first time, if you did not enroll when you were first eligible for Medicare.
