2/5/19 WI DHS will continue to post up-to-date information on their FoodShare webpage. 284,436 current FoodShare households received February FoodShare benefits on Sunday, January 20, 2019.
Members who received these early February benefits will not get additional FoodShare benefits on their QUEST cards in February. However, FoodShare benefits can be used throughout the month of February as QUEST cards will continue to work after January 31. Please budget and plan accordingly. The Department of Health Services (DHS) has confirmed with Federal partners that March benefits are available. March benefits will be issued on their normal schedule If there is any change to the issuance schedule it will be communicated as soon as possible. NOTE: Any notices sent to FoodShare recipients dated between January 19,2019 and February 4,2019 will indicate that the household will receive a $0 March FoodShare benefit due to the federal government shutdown. Households will receive March benefits and will receive new notices indicating the appropriate benefit amount after February 9, 2019.
