Free COVID-19 Testing Today!
Free COVID-19 testing today in Ashland, Wisconsin, at Lake Superior Primary/Elementary School. Ashland, Bayfield, Iron, and Price County residents encouraged to attend if they have COVID-19-like symptoms. Testing today, Thursday, May 7th, 2020, from 11 am - 7 pm.
Details:
Testing will be done using a drive-through collection process. Please approach the school via Binsfield Road by entering from Highway 13. The entrance will be via the East side of the driveway only. Traffic exiting the testing site will travel West away from the school towards Beaser Ave.
People who are 5 years of age or older and are currently sick with the following symptoms are eligible for nasal swab testing:
- Fever
- Cough
- Shortness of breath
- Chills or repeated shaking with chills
- Muscle pain
- Headache
- Fatigue
- Sore throat
- Loss of taste or smell
- Vomiting or nausea
This is a test to determine if you currently have COVID-19 disease. Testing through the collection site will be free of cost and is only available to Wisconsin residents, including residents of other Wisconsin counties. The goal is to test up to 200 people throughout the day.
