[ARCHIVED] Emergency Broadband Benefit available

Beginning May 12, 2021 eligible households will be able to apply for the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program, a new program from the Federal Communications Commission to assist low-income Americans who have struggled to access the internet throughout the pandemic. Participating households will receive a discount of up to $50 per month, or $75 on Tribal Land, paid directly to the internet service provider on behalf of the household. Only one benefit will be allowed per household. Additionally, households who qualify may be eligible to receive up to $100 off the purchase of a laptop, desktop, or tablet, if their provider offers this benefit.
