It's National Drive Electric Week and we are celebrating a new, level 3 EV charging station in #bayfieldcountywi! Thanks to Bay Area Rural Transit and Xcel Energy for partnering with Bayfield County to make this happen.
The charging station is located in the parking lot on the corner of Washington ave. and east 6th street in Washburn, near the Bayfield County courthouse. Payment can be made by credit card or by using the EVGATEWAY app. There are 2 plugs, so one is available even when the new electric BART bus is charging.
Looking for something to do while your vehicle is charging? Take a walk around town or daytime Mon-Fri call the Blue Goose for a ride to any destination in Washburn:
- visit the Washburn Public Library
- take a walk along the lakeshore path
- go to the grocery store
- visit area shops and restaurants
