Bayfield County Department of Human Services is currently seeking registered contractors for 5 home modification projects for the Bayfield County Children’s Long-Term Support (CLTS) program.
CLTS is a state and federally-funded program to support children with disabilities and their families. One of the benefit categories in CLTS is called Home Modifications. Some enrolled families need their homes modified or fences or equipment installed to create an accessible and safe home for their child.
To become an approved CLTS home modification provider, interested contractors will need to: complete provider forms, enter business information in an online provider directory, and provide proof of business’s insurance and current dwelling contractor license. Bayfield County CLTS staff can assist with certain steps of the registration, as well as provide information about the claims process to receive payment.
