The Family Services section of the Bayfield County Department of Human Services needs citizen members to fill vacancies on their advisory committee.
The primary responsibilities of advisory committee members are to: learn about the programs; educate other community members about their value; seek information from other community members on how the Department might better meet their needs; advocate for staff and the populations they serve; and recommend desirable procedural and policy changes to the Human Services Board.
Family Services programs include foster care, kinship, youth justice, child protective services, and many others that address issues that Bayfield County families encounter.
Meetings are quarterly, have a remote attendance option, and pay a per diem (& mileage if applicable). Apply here: Citizen Member Application online, or contact Family Services Manager, Mary Anich, at 715-373-6144 mary.anich@bayfieldcounty.wi.gov for more if interested.
