Bayfield County will be awarding up to four high school seniors a $500 scholarship.
Applicants must complete these qualifiers to be eligible for the scholarship:
- Attend two local government meetings including one county board meeting
- Speak at both meetings during the public comment section informing the board of their intent to apply for this scholarship, including: their name, school, interest they may have in local government and their reason for applying for the scholarship.
- Write a one-page essay on “What should local governments do in Bayfield County to involve youth”.
The upcoming Bayfield County Board Meetings are scheduled for:
- January 31, 2023
- February 28, 2023
- March 28, 2023
